Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Pip Nash, a puzzle creator and writer living in beautiful East Devon, UK. I created Devon Puzzles to help curious, creative people like you learn how to make puzzles—not just solve them. I love puzzles of all sorts and want to help others create their own.
Whether you’re completely new to puzzle design or you’re ready to publish your own puzzle book, you’re in the right place. My goal is to make puzzle creation fun, approachable, and a little bit addictive.

Why I Started Devon Puzzles

For years, I enjoyed solving Crosswords, Wordsearches, Sudoku, Logic and other puzzles. But one day I thought: What if I could
make one myself?
At first, I had no idea where to start. I pieced things together—hand-drawn grids were too difficult for me, free online tools were great at the beginning but after lots of trial and error I learned how to design puzzles. They were fun to solve and satisfying to finish.
Now I want to share what I’ve learned with you—from how to build a simple Sudoku, to formatting puzzles for books or printables, to publishing your very own puzzle book on Amazon.
Devon Puzzles is here to guide you every step of the way.
